About Us

English10k is an interactive English-learning platform that helps students build a 10,000-word vocabulary and the confidence to use it. Through image-driven scenes, phonics, pictionary, games, and generators, learners connect words to the real world and practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing. English10k is operated by ENGLISH10K, LLC, a Florida limited liability company.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. Please read these Terms carefully before using English10k.

1. Acceptance of Terms. By accessing or using the English10k website, applications, and services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by ENGLISH10K, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“English10k,” “we,” “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service. English10k provides interactive English-language learning content, including vocabulary scenes, phonics, pictionary, games, generators, and related educational tools. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Accounts. To access certain features you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid account; children may use the Service under the supervision and consent of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

4. Subscriptions & Billing. Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown at checkout. IMPORTANT — AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) and your payment method is automatically charged the then-current price, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice, and any price change applies only to renewals occurring after the notice. Prices are displayed in Colombian pesos (COP) unless otherwise shown. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees, which are your responsibility. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

5. Acceptable Use. You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, reverse-engineer, or share your account access; interfere with the Service; or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property. All content, images, audio, software, and materials in the Service are owned by English10k or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own learning. No other rights are granted.

7. Disclaimers. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular learning outcome. English10k provides educational content only. It is not professional, academic, certification, immigration, or examination advice, and we do not guarantee any test score, credential, employment, or immigration outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, English10k and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any amount exceeding the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

9. Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless English10k and its members, officers, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. If you register an account on behalf of a child, this obligation applies to that use as well.

10. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver. Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
(a) Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
(b) Binding arbitration. Except as stated below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court instead.
(c) Class-action waiver. You and English10k agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims.
(d) Exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorized use of the Service.
(e) Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying us through the contact page within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; if you opt out, the Governing Law and courts section applies instead.

11. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section above, any dispute not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

12. Severability; Entire Agreement; Assignment; Waiver. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect and the unenforceable part will be limited to the minimum extent necessary. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and English10k and supersede any prior understandings. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor or affiliate. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

13. Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, payment-processor failures, natural disasters, government action, or labor disruptions.

14. Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect. We collect the information you provide when you create an account (such as name and email), payment information processed by our payment providers, and usage data such as pages viewed, lessons and games played, and progress within the Service. We may also collect basic device and log information (browser type, IP address, and similar technical data).

2. How we use it. We use your information to provide and improve the Service, track learning progress, process subscriptions and payments, communicate with you about your account, provide support, and keep the Service secure.

3. Payments & international transfer. Payments are handled by third-party processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; payment details are processed securely by our providers under their own terms and privacy policies. Because English10k is operated from the United States, information you provide may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.

4. Sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting and payment processing), or when required by law.

5. Cookies & similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

6. Children. The Service is intended for use by adults and by children only under the supervision, direction, and consent of a parent, guardian, or teacher, who creates and is responsible for the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without verifiable consent from that adult. If we learn we have collected a child’s information without the required consent, we will delete it. A parent, guardian, or teacher may contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete a child’s information, or to withdraw consent and close the account. We do not use children’s information to serve targeted advertising and we do not sell it.

7. Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.

9. Retention. We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review your request in good faith. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account — please contact us first.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent that includes: (1) your contact information; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the material claimed to infringe and its location on the Service; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
